Ethos is a
product that is added to fuels to help engines burn fuel more
completely. Ethos is non-toxic, non-hazardous and works with any
fuel used in cars, trucks, buses, ships, trains and generators.
Ethos is free of carcinogens and is not derived from petroleum. It
utilizes cleaning and lubricating esters suspended in a mineral oil
base.
Polarity causes the ester
molecules to be attracted to positively charged metal surfaces. As a
result, the molecules tend to line up on the metal surface creating
a film which translates into higher lubricity and lower energy
consumption on lubricant applications.
The polar nature of esters
also makes them good solvents and dispersants. This allows the
esters to gently disperse oil degradation by-products which might
otherwise be deposited as varnish or sludge. This translates into a
cleaner operation of the engine.
The first benefit of Ethos
is adding lubricity to the engine. The second is adding cleansing
properties to the fuel. All of the internal components benefit from
the cleansing and lubricating action including the fuel lines, fuel
pumps, filters, carburetors, spark plugs and injectors. A cleaner
more lubricated engine runs smoother, requires less maintenance and
reduces engine heat significantly. Horsepower returns closer to the
manufacturer’s specifications. Ethos removes carbon deposits that
cause fuel to combust incompletely, resulting in wasted fuel that
adds to toxic emissions. The combination of cleaning and lubricating
esters in Ethos stabilize the fuel without changing its
specifications.
Below are some
pictures of a test that I performed on 2 identical brand new
engines. Both engines were ran for 7 hours at the same RPM and load.
The comparison pictures on the right hand side are from the engine
running Ethos. What I have demonstrated with this test is the
difference in Carbon build up, Sludge, Temperature and Residue
Reduction.




Remember
that Ethos works with any liquid fuel. Ethos uses the fuel to carry
the Esters into the engine.
ETHOS IS ADDED TO DIESEL, GASOLINE,
ETHANOL OR OTHER FUELS AT A RATE OF 1oz PER 10 GALLONS OF FUEL FOR
ONGOING TREATMENT. ETHOS IS ADDED TO THE CRANKCASE AT A RATE OF 1oz
PER EVERY QUART OF OIL AT EVERY OIL CHANGE.
Ethos is an
Ester-Based product. Even though
this product is applied to both fuel and oil, it is neither an oil
additive nor a fuel additive but an engine treatment or better
described, it is a metal treatment. There are hundreds of thousands
of esters in every drop of Ethos. The micro-sizing of the esters is
what allows Ethos to penetrate and treat areas for superior
lubrication.
Ethos is made up
of three specific esters which are in a 100% pure mineral oil base.
The three esters consist as one cleaning ester group that penetrates
the metal and dissolves all carbon buildup in the upper part of the
engine, and cleans and removes all gum and soot buildup in the
bottom half of the engine, therefore allowing lubrication to reach
all intended parts.
The other two
esters are lubricating esters. One of the lubricating esters is a
surface-based ester to apply immediate lubrication to the surface of
the metal parts; this ester is similar to what is in popular
synthetic motor oils.
The second
lubricating ester is a penetrating ester which has a cell structure
much same as metal. Therefore it is able to penetrate the metal and
create a lubricating film deep within the metal. As a result of
this, we see the product putting lubrication back into the fuel as
well as turning standard oil into synthetic-based oil, allowing
lubrication to reach all of the necessary internal parts.
